Chairman of CEL since 2005, Andy Hinton has worked in the environmental and utility sector for many years, specialising in business development, sales, marketing and customer services.
Prior to involvement in CEL, Andy was instrumental in setting up White Rose Environmental the market leader in the medical waste treatment sector, and was the architect of a series of deals and business start-ups that developed Yorkshire Environmental into a diversified £200m business. He was also a director of Yorkshire Water Services, leading a period of strategic change in the late 1990’s.
Andy is chairman of 3 companies in the environmental field and is a former director of WRAP, the governments delivery body in the area of recycling and resource recovery.
Nick has spent 20 years working in the environmental sector including 12 years in the tyre sector, and has been Managing Director of Credential since 2006. Nick has overall responsibility for sales, customer service, collections and processing.
Nick is an engineering graduate and MBA with extensive experience in operations, general and commercial management in industrial services and process industries, including waste and utilities.
Prior to tyres, Nick co-owned the largest medical waste business in the UK serving 50% of the NHS. He has also owned and ran a hazardous waste business and was General Manager of Sita running landfills, collections and waste to energy facility.
Mark has worked in the tyre recycling sector for over 20 years in a variety of finance and business development roles. Mark is the company’s Finance and Business Development Manager. Previously Mark was the MD of Tyre Collection Services Ltd, prior to its acquisition by CEL in 2007 and of Monarch, a tyre remoulding business. Mark is very active in the Tyre Recovery Association nationally.
Karen is the Company’s Credit Manager with over 30 years experience.
Having started with Credential in 2005, Karen has developed and implemented an ongoing programme of improvements in the Accounts Department to keep up with an increasingly automated environment.
Karen studied at Thames Valley University to obtain qualifications in the Credit Industry and has been a member of the Chartered Institute of Credit Management since 1987.
Sue is the Company’s Compliance Manager with a wealth of skills acquired through a range of demanding roles in manufacturing and the waste industry. Sue has over 20 years’ experience within health and safety and has worked for Credential since 2006.
Sue develops, implements and monitors systems and procedures to meet the company’s obligations with regards to health, safety and environmental legislation, management systems and best practice. She provides specialised knowledge, support and advice in understanding the requirement of Health and Safety and Environmental Legislation; to identify key areas of risk and subsequent actions required.
Paul has worked for Credential Environmental Ltd since the age of 16, for over 13 years. Paul is AAT qualified and is currently working towards completing the ACCA qualification.
During the 13 years, Paul has adapted to the many changes at the company, Paul’s current role is to produce management reports, assist with preparing accounts, and managing the administration of the company’s complex integrated systems.
